Shauna M. Palmer-Kasitz, from San Diego CA, comes from a family with medical backgrounds and grew up working in a family practice. She always enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the other staff and patients.
For over 18 years, Shauna worked for Sharp Healthcare in La Mesa CA, most recently working in the Neurointeventional Department before being invited to join California Center for Neurointerventional Surgery (CCNS) as their Office Manager. She is very excited to be part of CCNS and is proud to work with such a fantastic team of doctors. “I love supporting the doctors in our group and being able help them care for our patients. I especially enjoy building relationships with patients as they work with our elite team of physicians to reach their personal healthcare goals.”
The many years of working for Sharp gave Shauna a great foundation on which to balance a busy office environment while offering excellent patient care. “It’s exciting to be a part of a new practice and see CCNS develop from its inception.”
On a personal level, Shauna has been married to her wonderful husband, Larry, for almost ten years and they enjoy traveling, camping, and spending time with their family. Her two young grandsons are the light of her life and keep her quite busy! She and Larry also enjoy the ranch life, which includes horses, goats, chickens and dogs. They are also involved in supporting homeless missions, donating their time and feeding the less fortunate.
